The Aquinas men's volleyball team got back on track on Monday night (Mar. 9), as the #10 Saints earned a 3-0 sweep at Reinhardt in Waleska, Ga. For the 12th time this season, AQ posted a 3-0 sweep, defeating the Eagles by scores of 25-12, 25-16, and 25-22.

It was the third match of the spring break trip for the Saints, who have now swept two opponents (Cumberland on Saturday), sandwiched around a tough 3-2 loss at #2 Campbellsville on Sunday. Aquinas is now 14-6 on the season, while Reinhardt drops to 4-17 overall.

AQ doubled the Eagles in kills (35-17) and hit .135, compared to RU's -.022 mark. The Saints held a large 10-2 advantage in service aces, while also finishing better in assists (32-15) and digs (48-26). Reinhardt topped Aquinas at the net with a 6-2 block margin.

10 Saints recorded at least one kill, with
Joshua Boothroyd leading the way with eight kills and zero errors on 13 attempts. Boothroyd hit .615 and added four digs and an ace.
Sean Kelley delivered six kills and a pair of block assists, while
Matthew Glass notched six kills in 13 swings.

Zane Moothart took just five attempts offensively, but posted match-highs of 14 digs and five service aces. The setting was split between
Colby Elder (17 assists, three digs) and
Matthew Richmond (15 assists, two aces).Â

Josh Evers added six digs, while
Ruben Lopez and
Robert Valerio totaled five digs apiece. Elder and
Will Duellman recorded three kills each, while Moothart, Valerio,
Daniel Soliz, and
Kelsey Yogi all provided two kills.

Aquinas closes the four-match trip with a 6:00 p.m. match on Wednesday (Mar. 11) at 6:00 p.m. at Warner in Lake Wales, Fla.
