CU defeats AQ 7-0 & 7-0

Grand Rapids, Mich. — The Aquinas College tennis teams traveled across town to take on Cornerstone in conference play. Both teams were unable to whittle down the well-established Golden Eagles. Cornerstone took both victories by a score of 7-0.

Men:

The Saints struggled in doubles as CU continued there prowess in all the doubles contests.

AQ had more success in singles as Tom Gangov had the closest margin for Aquinas, but unfortunately still fell short (7-5, 2-6, 10-8).

The Saints had a difficult time in singles against Cornerstone, but managed a better performance in doubles, but weren't able to secure a win against the strong conference competitor.
