Grand Rapids, Mich. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly known as CoSIDA, announced on Tuesday (May 29) the Academic All-District Athletes for the 2024 softball season. The Saints had five student-athletes announced as recipients of the award for their work both in the classroom and on the softball diamond. Courtney Hardin, Haley Myers, Kaelyn Stafford, Grace Maguire, and McKenna Hinkle were named CSC All-District student-athletes.

Athletes are nominated for this award by current CSC members based on select academic and athletic criteria. These criteria include starting in at least 66% of games or playing in 90%, holding a cumulative GPA of 3.5, and being at least a sophomore both academically and athletically. Grace Maguire (RHP) | Senior, Business & Communications

• Top 10 in conference in wins (15), strikeouts (84), innings pitched (165), and ERA (2.59).
• 5th-most strikeouts looking in a season (29).
• Most games finished in AQ history over her career (41).
• AQ's Sister Helen Louise Brogger Winner.

Courtney Hardin (C) | Senior, Psychology

• Broke the AQ all-time walks record (108).
• Career records: T-3rd runs scored (157), 3rd in doubles (56), T-3rd home runs (26), 2nd stolen bases (89).
• Top three in the conference in doubles (19). Tied for the third-most doubles in a season in AQ history.
• WHAC Player of the Week.
• Three-time All-WHAC First Team (2021, 2022, 2023), 2024 All-WHAC Second Team.

Haley Myers (3B) | Senior, Biology

• WHAC Player of the Week.
• Most at-bats (6) and runs scored (4) in a single game.
• Led the team in runs scored (39), hits (66), stolen bases (20), and assists (115).
• Top five in the conference in hits. Top 20 in batting average (.346).
• 2024 All-WHAC Second Team.

Kaelyn Stafford (CF) | Senior, Business Administration

• 2024 All-WHAC Second Team.
• Tied for fifth-best fielding percentage in the conference with a minimum of 50 fielding opportunities (.989).
• Finished season with a .301 batting average, 29 hits, 26 RBIs, eight doubles, and three home runs.

McKenna Hinkle (LF) | Sophomore, Biology

• Perfect 1.000 fielding percentage on 69 fielding opportunities.
• Led the team with 12 sacrifice hits.
• Finished season with a .301 batting average, 25 hits, 25 runs, and 14 stolen bases.

All nominated student-athletes by its institution are named to the All-District Team and advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be voted on and announced June 12.
