Grand Rapids, Mich. — Today, the Aquinas College Athletic Department announced that Coach Chip Vasquez will be pursuing other interests and no longer be the Head Coach of the AQ Women's Lacrosse Team.

In his sole season at the helm, Coach Vasquez led the Saints to an overall record of 2-12, including a 2-6 record in WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference) play.

Athletic Director Dr. Ronald D. Reeves expressed his gratitude for Coach Vasquez's contributions during his time with the program.
"I want to thank Chip for his time here and appreciate his work with the Aquinas College Women's Lacrosse program. On behalf of the entire department, I wish him the best in his future endeavors."

Coach Vasquez joined the Aquinas Athletic Department in the fall of 2023, becoming the fifth head coach in the history of the AQ Women's Lacrosse program.

The Aquinas Athletic Department will begin a national search for a new head coach immediately.
