Livonia, Mich. — The Aquinas College Dance Team attended Madonna Madness hosted by Madonna on Saturday (Feb. 8) for their 2025 Season Opener.
The Saints attended Madonna Madness with a confidence that matched their program's history but still had a few season-opener nerves. AQ pushed their nerves to the side with their eyes on first place and did just that with a performance of 83.43. The Saints began their season promptly and still have room to grow on the score sheet as the season progresses.
Here is how the remainder of the competition finished out:

Head Coach
Ashley Kaman had this to share on the team's performance, "The team pulled off a close win against some incredibly talented teams. With this being our first time on the competition floor this season, we knew we'd have to start strong against teams who have a few under their belt. We had outstanding performances from our veterans, and I'm so proud of our five dancers we competed for the first time on the NAIA stage. We can't wait to get back to work to continue elevating our performance for next week."
