Athlete/Team/Contributor Nomination Criteria
Student-Athletes
1) A student-athlete becomes eligible five (5) years after leaving Aquinas College
2) Must have earned at least two varsity letters
3) Must have represented Aquinas College in a positive manner both as an undergraduate and an alumnus
4) Selection shall be based primarily on athletic achievement, but the committee will also consider character, leadership, academics, degree earned, integrity, and contributions to the
teams and to Aquinas College
5) A candidate must receive a minimum affirmative vote of 75% of the members of the committee
Teams
1) For a team to be considered for entry, the team must have qualified and competed in the National Tournament of their respective governing body
2) A team becomes eligible ten (10) years after competing in the National Tournament
3) A candidate must receive a minimum affirmative vote of 75% of the members of the committee
Contributors/Non-Athletes
1) Persons must have demonstrated a special and/or sustained interest in Aquinas College athletics for a minimum of five (5) years
2) Persons currently coaching at Aquinas College will not be considered for induction if the primary rationale for that consideration revolves around their coaching accomplishments.
Upon retirement or leaving the college, a three (3) year waiting period must be met to be considered
