Biography
Ludington, Mich. | Sociology (Health & Human Services) | Legal Studies & Developmental Psychology Minors
Alana Calhoun brings leadership, experience, and purpose to the Aquinas Dance Team. A CSC Academic All-District honoree and multi-time All-Conference performer, Calhoun earned Second Team recognition twice (2023, 2024) and First Team honors in 2023. She is also a national champion through Energy Dance Competition, winning the Grand Showcase Duet title.
With 17 years of dance experience, Calhoun combines technical skill with a deep commitment to team culture. She is most excited to help lead the continued development of the program while growing alongside her teammates.
She defines success as yielding to the will of Jesus and embracing the growth that comes through both athletics and academics. Outside of dance, Calhoun has swum in all five Great Lakes within 24 hours and enjoys hiking, reading, folk music, and learning to play the banjo.
