2026-27 Dance Team Roster
Biography
Senior Amelia Thurm returns to the Aquinas Dance Team while pursuing a degree in Psychology with a minor in Elementary Education. A native of Milford, Michigan, Thurm has become one of the program's veteran leaders, earning WHAC All-Conference and All-Academic honors while helping the Saints achieve success on both the conference and national stages.
Thurm has been part of multiple championship performances, including a WHAC Championship team, a regional title and consecutive top-10 finishes at the NAIA National Championships. She also helped Aquinas earn runner-up finishes at NDA Nationals, highlighted by second-place Jazz and third-place Team Routine finishes in 2025. With 17 years of dance experience, she continues to build on a strong competitive foundation developed at Modern Messages Dance Company.
Amelia chose Aquinas because it allowed her to continue dancing competitively while pursuing an outstanding academic education. She defines success through the support of her teammates, coaches and professors while working toward her goals. A fun fact: her birthday falls on Halloween.
