Aquinas College

Hayley Merryfield enters her sophomore season with Aquinas Dance after helping the Saints capture a WHAC Championship and advance to the NDA finals during her first collegiate season.

A graduate of Lakewood High School, Merryfield has danced for 15 years, including seven years of competitive dance. She also competed in track for five years, earning honors that included Outstanding Freshman, Most Team Spirit, Most Valuable Sprinter, Outstanding Junior, Academic Excellence, and Scholar-Athlete recognition. She also captured first place in the 100-meter dash during her prep career.

A Health Science major studying Spanish, Merryfield chose Aquinas because of its welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and the feeling that AQ was home. She defines success as making unforgettable memories, finding a community, and becoming fully prepared for life after college.

Away from competition and academics, Merryfield enjoys drawing and listening to R&B and pop music.
