Aquinas College

Freshman Jolean McMillen begins her collegiate dance career while pursuing a degree in Psychology. A native of Chatham, Illinois, and graduate of Glenwood High School, McMillen brings 15 years of dance experience to the Aquinas Dance Team.

A three-year varsity dancer and one of three team captains during her senior season, McMillen also spent 10 years competing with Dance Creations Dance Studio. She earned CS8 All-Academic Conference honors for three years and helped her team earn a second-place home routine finish at UDA Camp.

Jolean chose Aquinas because of its welcoming people and supportive community. She believes the willingness of students, faculty and staff to help one another will make her collegiate experience successful. Away from dance, her favorite animal is a cat.
