Ondreana “Ona” Mather brings versatility and energy to Aquinas. She has earned multiple dance scholarships and invitations, including a Disney Cruise Package, a Chicago “Activate Your Artistry” scholarship, Team Elite invites, and ID Icon Master Class invitations. At the regional level, she was named Entertainer of the Year and received Sportsmanship and Judges Awards.

Mather has an extensive athletic background, including three years of varsity cheer, three years of varsity pom, varsity cross country, track, and 11 years of travel and studio dance experience.

She chose Aquinas for the opportunity to dance while pursuing her passion for Elementary Education on a beautiful campus with strong academic resources. She defines success as building meaningful bonds with her teammates while preparing for her future career.

Outside of dance, Mather enjoys scrapbooking, traveling, and surfing — a skill she learned in Spain. She also has a bearded dragon named Mushu and is an “Irish twin,” born just 11 months apart from her sister.
