Aquinas College

Freshman Trista Dallas begins her collegiate dance career while pursuing a degree in Health Studies on the Pre-Physician Assistant track. A graduate of Byron Center High School, Dallas brings an accomplished competitive dance background and a passion for performance to the Aquinas Dance Team.

Dallas spent seven years with the Caledonia Dance Company travel program and competed for three seasons on the Caledonia/Byron Center varsity dance team. Her accomplishments include multiple Top 10 solo finishes, award-winning duet performances with her sister, a "Bringing the Thunder" award and helping her varsity team become a national semifinalist.

Trista chose Aquinas because of its outstanding Pre-PA program and the welcoming, family atmosphere created by Coach Ashley and the dance team. She hopes to embrace every opportunity to grow academically, personally and as a dancer while making a positive impact on campus.

Away from dance, Trista has traveled to more than 10 countries, was named after the very first Bachelorette, and is related to singer Del Shannon, whose career famously included The Beatles as an opening act.
