Kelsey Pollock is in her first season on staff at Aquinas College after recently serving as the head softball coach at Comstock Park High School. Prior to moving back to the midwest, she coached at Barstow Community College, serving as the head assistant. Pollock helped lead the Vikings to a top 10 ranking in the state of California in 2020. Her main responsibilities were coaching outfield and hitting. She also coached for one season at Calvin College.
Pollock spent her collegiate career at Calvin College playing shortstop and center field. A three-year starter, she provided clutch hitting and a steady glove for the Knights. As a junior in 2014, she helped Calvin achieve a 20-win campaign while reaching the MIAA tournament for the first time since 2005. She also individually finished in the top 10 in the nation in sacrifice hits. Pollock was also a four-year member of the Calvin women's basketball program that finished 30-1 overall, winning the 2014-15 MIAA Championship and reaching the quarterfinals of the NCAA III Tournament.Â
A native of Greenville, Pollock prepped at Belding High School and was a decorated three-sport athlete playing volleyball, basketball, and softball, as well as being a member of the school's state ranked band program. She has a bachelor's degree in Biology and is pursuing her master’s degree in Sport Psychology.Â
