Tim Syrek is in his first season on staff at Aquinas College. Prior to coaching at Aquinas, he was the head coach at Barstow College in California for five seasons and guided the team from a winless program in 2016 to being a top 10 team in the state of California. He was also the head coach at Calvin College and led the Knights to the first postseason appearance in 13 years and started a revival in their program.
Syrek has his Master's in Organizational Communications from Western Michigan University. He currently resides in Comstock Park, Mich., and has two sons, Brady and Casey. He is also an avid University of Michigan and Chicago Cubs fan. He also enjoys collecting baseball cards as a hobby.
