Biography
Nefthaly Velazquez begins her collegiate career at Aquinas as an Education and Psychology major after graduating from East Kentwood High School. An All-Academic honoree, she has spent 12 years playing soccer, including one varsity season while competing for both Revolution and Midwest club programs. In addition to soccer, Velazquez also participated in cross country and competitive cheer.
She chose Aquinas because she believes success comes from staying on the right path and surrounding herself with people who encourage growth. During her time with the Saints, she is excited to build friendships, continue developing as both a student and athlete, and represent Aquinas with pride.
Away from soccer, Nefthaly has played the violin for as long as she has played soccer.
