Andrew Stern enters his senior year as one of the accomplished runners in the Aquinas Cross Country program. An Education major with a focus in English, Stern earned First Team All-WHAC Cross Country honors in 2025 and has also found success on the road racing circuit, winning the 2024 Grand Rapids Half Marathon and placing sixth in the elite field at the 2025 Bayshore Half Marathon. During his career at Saline High School, he earned All-Conference and All-Region recognition in both cross country and track while helping his teams capture multiple conference and regional championships and an eighth-place finish at the MHSAA State Finals. Stern began running in fourth grade and has competed seriously since eighth grade. Motivated by "running fast times with fast friends," he also enjoys collecting vinyl records and underground hip hop. Black Thought is his favorite rapper, Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly is his favorite album, and Stern has a twin sister.
