Andrew Stern
From Saline, Michigan, senior Andrew Stern is pursuing a degree in Education with a focus in English. A decorated runner, he won the 2024 Grand Rapids Half Marathon and placed sixth in the elite field at the 2025 Bayshore Half Marathon. During high school, he was All-Conference and All-Region in both cross country and track, helping Saline to multiple regional and conference championships, along with an eighth-place team finish at the MHSAA State Finals. Stern began running in fourth grade and has competed seriously since eighth grade. At Aquinas, he is motivated by “running fast times with fast friends,” while also enjoying collecting vinyl records, listening to underground hip hop, and following his favorite rapper Black Thought. His favorite album is To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar. Stern also has a twin sister.
