Biography

Freshman (2016)

• Ran to a 40th-place finish in 27:42 to help the Saints place 4th at the WHAC Championships at Riverside Park. • Finished 100th with a time of 27:12 in the 8,000-meter event at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge (Oct. 22) at Riverside Park. •  Placed 32nd out of 189 at the MCC Jayhawk Invitational (Oct. 14), crossing the finish line in 26:51.•  Placed 55th out of 151 at the Bethel College Invitational (Oct. 7), crossing the finish line in 27:07. •  Ran a 27:19 to finish in 13th place at the GRCC Raider Invitational (Sept. 23).• Made his Aquinas debut at the 8,000-meter UW-Parkside Midwest Open (Sept. 10), crossing 81st in 28:10

High School: Ran cross country at East Kentwood under head coach Ray Antel and assistant coach Tim Gumz. 3 time all academic award winner ( sophomore, junior, and senior year). Ran track and participated in the " winter running program".

Personal: Son of Regulo and Christine León. Majoring in History with a psychology minor- plan on teaching in the future. Was in Boyscouts through highschool. Enjoys running, rock climbing, camping and just about anything outdoors.
