Bonfils Matenga (Bon Mate)
Kentwood, Michigan, native Bonfils “Bon Mate” Matenga is a junior at Aquinas studying Secondary Education in Mathematics. A graduate of East Kentwood High School (2023), he competed in cross country for three years before joining the Saints. Guided by his favorite verse, Romans 12:2, Matenga is focused on submitting to God and discerning His will as he grows both academically and athletically. Outside of training and studies, he enjoys praise and worship music.
