2026 Men's Cross Country Roster
Biography
Samuel Elder enters his senior season as a veteran leader of the Aquinas Cross Country program. A Psychology major from Grand Ledge, Michigan, Elder has spent the past seven years developing as a distance runner while embracing the values of teamwork, perseverance, and personal growth that define the Saints.
Samuel chose Aquinas because of its welcoming community and the opportunity to strengthen his faith alongside teammates who share his commitment to excellence. He believes the team's success is built on everyone giving their very best each day and putting the needs of the team ahead of individual accomplishments.
As he prepares for his final collegiate season, Elder remains focused on helping the Saints compete at a championship level while making a lasting impact on those around him. Away from running, he enjoys spending time with his four brothers and "the lads."
