Isaiah Poe joins Aquinas Men's Rugby following a decorated career at Rockford High School. A Health Science major, Poe earned All-Conference and All-State recognition along with Most Valuable Forward and Most Improved honors and received an invitation to Tropical 7s NXT Gen. He helped Rockford capture the 2026 Division I state championship and brings three years of varsity rugby experience to the Saints. A versatile athlete, Poe also competed in track for five years, football for five years and wrestling for one season. He chose Aquinas because of the campus environment and the opportunity to elevate his level of play, defining success through continued development as a rugby player. Away from the pitch, Poe enjoys hunting and fishing, lives on a farm, loves country music and is one of five children.
