Biography
Grand Rapids, Michigan, native Jacob Grifhorst joins Aquinas from the Class of 2025. A 5’10”, 160-pound flanker, Grifhorst was a two-time All-State selection in high school rugby. In addition to his three years of varsity rugby, he brings 12 years of wrestling experience, including two at the varsity level. Planning to major in Education, he is excited to compete at a higher level of rugby and continue learning from his coaches and teammates. Outside of rugby, Grifhorst enjoys country music, hunting, and fishing, and he is an active member of his church community.
