Aquinas College

Sophomore Bryce Hopson continues his collegiate swimming career while pursuing a degree in Biology with a concentration in Zoology. A native of Lafayette, Indiana, Hopson has built upon a strong competitive foundation established during four varsity seasons at Harrison High School and years of club competition with Boilermaker Aquatics.

Hopson earned Academic Excellence honors all four years of high school while placing among the top finishers in the 100 breaststroke at sectionals. He also helped his teams capture consecutive conference and sectional championships before choosing Aquinas for its academic opportunities and the chance to continue developing as a collegiate swimmer.

Bryce hopes to continue progressing toward his goal of competing among the fastest swimmers in the world. Outside of the pool, he describes himself as a big animation nerd who enjoys art, gaming and trying new foods, and his favorite color is purple.
