Biography
Carl Goeckel enters his sophomore year with Aquinas Swim & Dive after graduating from Ionia High School in 2025. A Clinical Exercise Science major, Goeckel brings an extensive athletic background that includes eight years of club swimming along with four years of high school swimming and soccer. He came to Aquinas ready to embrace new experiences, improve his times and make the most of his college journey. As he continues his AQ career, Goeckel views earning his degree as an important measure of success. Away from competition, he enjoys building and hunting.
