Aquinas College

Grady Nugent joins Aquinas Swim & Dive after graduating from Plainwell High School in 2026. A Business Administration and Sport Management major, Nugent earned All-Conference recognition during both his junior and senior seasons and recorded top-three finishes in the 100-yard backstroke, 100-yard freestyle and 400-yard freestyle relay. He brings three years of swimming experience to Aquinas and also competed in wrestling and soccer. Nugent is excited to experience life as a collegiate student-athlete and defines success through remaining committed to swimming while continuing the academic success he established in high school. Away from the pool, he enjoys racing motocross and skiing, and 2000s country is his favorite music genre.
