Biography
High School: Prepped at Holt High School under head track and field coach Ross Malatinsky. Team captain of the Rams squad during his sophomore, junior and senior season. Earned all-conference honors seven times in the CAAC Blue division. Two time Division 1 All-state team member. Ran track all four years under head coach Ross Malatinsky. All-state for the 4x200m relay and 4x100m relay. School record holder in the 4x200m relay. Finalist for the Lansing State Journal track and field athlete of the year award in 2018. Also played varsity tennis and was a conference and regional champion. Was a member of the National Honor Society, Student leadership academy, and various other clubs.
Personal: Son of Tim and Paulette Stump. Brother to Evan Stump. Majoring in business administration and sport management and minoring in journalism. Enjoys running fast, hammocking, anything related to sports, eating food, and hanging with friends and family.
