Biography
Hailing from Mililani, Hawaii, Colin Ilagan is a dual major in Business Administration and Sports Management with a concentration in Marketing. A longtime volleyball standout with over 11 years of experience, Ilagan began his career at Mililani High School, where he was a two-time D1 West Champion (Freshman and Senior Year), D1 OIA runner-up, and finished third in the state of Hawaii during his senior season. He also competed for the Ku?ikahi Volleyball Club, earning third place at the Aloha Classic and winning the Silver Bracket in his 18s season. At Aquinas, Ilagan has been recognized with the 2023 Team Choice Award and earned back-to-back WHAC All-Academic honors in 2023–24 and 2024–25. He was even featured on NOEZY BUCKETS for a Top 5 dig of the month in April 2023. Ilagan chose Aquinas because of the strong culture within the volleyball program and the welcoming campus environment. He values the college’s challenging academics and competitive spirit, hoping to help lead the Saints to a WHAC title and national tournament appearance. Off the court, Colin enjoys spending time at the beach when he’s home, hanging out with friends, and playing pickleball or golf. He’s a big fan of Marvel movies, loves The Office, and can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under two minutes.
