Katie Carlson brings decorated high school and collegiate credentials to Aquinas. A four-year varsity starter, she earned All-Conference, All-District, All-Region, All-State Honorable Mention, Academic All-State, Team MVP, and Team Captain honors. She was also voted OK Green Athlete of the Year and helped her team capture the 2023 OK Green Conference Championship.
At the collegiate level, Carlson has earned WHAC Second Team All-Conference and WHAC All-Academic honors. She has 14 years of softball experience and also competed in volleyball and basketball, playing travel softball with Lake Effect.
Carlson chose Aquinas for its beautiful campus and small-school environment, valuing the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with professors and teammates. She defines success as building strong community connections both in athletics and her academic field.
Outside of softball, she enjoys calligraphy and lettering, coaches at Jenison High School and with a 14U travel team, and holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
