Biography
Shia de Castro joins Aquinas Men's Volleyball following an accomplished career at Southwest Miami High School. A Clinical Exercise Science major, de Castro earned First Team and Third Team All-Dade recognition during his prep career while helping his team finish as state runner-up twice and capture two regional championships. He brings four years of volleyball experience to the Saints and chose Aquinas for the opportunity to continue competing in the sport and the people he encountered within the College community. De Castro believes those relationships will be an important part of a successful collegiate experience. Away from volleyball, he enjoys fishing and can juggle.
