Aquinas College

Freshman Daniela Anzaldua joins Aquinas from Waverly High School while pursuing a degree in business administration. One of the area's most accomplished prep players, Anzaldua was a four-year varsity starter who earned four All-Conference and four All-District selections, three All-Region honors and two Second Team All-State recognitions. She was also a multiple-time All-Academic selection while helping lead her team to back-to-back district championships and appearances in both the regional semifinals and regional finals.

Anzaldua brings nine years of travel softball experience after competing for Krash Fastpitch, Chaos Fastpitch and Hangtuf.

She chose Aquinas because of its welcoming campus environment and supportive staff, saying it immediately felt like home. Daniela defines success by prioritizing her mental health while maintaining a strong mindset through the challenges and opportunities of collegiate athletics.

A unique fact about Daniela is that she was named after a loved one, making her journey to Aquinas even more meaningful.
