Aquinas College

Mary McIntire returns to West Michigan after beginning her collegiate career at Ave Maria University, bringing both collegiate experience and a strong softball résumé to Aquinas. A graduate of Rockford High School, McIntire earned All-District, All-Conference, and All-Region honors while serving as a team captain during her senior season. At Ave Maria, she hit .302 as a freshman, collecting 32 hits, 25 runs scored, five doubles, three triples, and one home run while providing dependable defense in the field.

McIntire has played softball for 16 years and competed with Finesse West on the travel circuit. She chose Aquinas with her faith at the center of her decision, living by Proverbs 16:3: "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will succeed."

She defines success by appreciating the small moments throughout her collegiate journey. One fun fact: she transferred back to Michigan because she missed celebrating Christmas with snow instead of palm trees and 80-degree weather.
