Aquinas College

Sydney Jemar joins the Aquinas softball program following a standout career at Kankakee Community College and Clifton Central High School. A proven two-way competitor, Jemar was a three-time First Team All-Conference, three-time First Team All-County and three-time Honorable Mention All-Area selection. She capped her high school career by earning Third Team All-State honors as a senior and was named her team's MVP in 2023.

Jemar's softball journey began at age 13, but she quickly established herself as an impact player. She competed at the varsity level for three seasons and also developed her game with Rhinos Academy before continuing her collegiate career at Kankakee Community College. Her combination of athleticism, competitiveness and commitment to improvement has helped her become a valuable addition to the Saints.

Jemar chose Aquinas for its beautiful campus, close proximity to downtown Grand Rapids and the opportunity to continue competing in the sport she loves. She values being part of a team that pushes one another to grow both academically and athletically while holding each other accountable.

Off the field, Jemar enjoys hiking, taking long walks, working out, shopping and spending time with family and friends. She enjoys all genres of music and is always looking for her next adventure.
