Stephanie Fisher joined the Aquinas Athletic Department prior to the 2017-18 season and serves as the AQ women's basketball assistant coach. Fisher was promoted to Associate Head Coach/JV Head Coach in the spring of 2025.
Fisher's current duties at AQ include player development for the team's guards, offensive concepts, day-to-day operations and recruiting in the West Michigan area.Â
Â
In her previous role at Aquinas, Fisher was responsible for recruiting varsity and junior varsity players as well as organizing, managing and scheduling a 20-game JV season. She also assisted with the varsity programs by organizing weekly workouts, academic meetings, travel needs, food and hotel reservations and social media for the team. Fisher was also in charge of the strength and conditioning program.
Â
Fisher was a part of Aquinas's 2017-18 season in which the team qualified for the NAIA National Tournament and finished as the runner-up in both the WHAC regular season standings and conference championship. AQ won 11 consecutive games and went 17-4 over its final 21 games to finish with a record of 25-9 overall and as the #21 ranked team in the country.
During her time at Lake Superior State as head coach of the LSSU junior varsity team, Fisher had many of the same roles she performed at Aquinas, while she also broke down game film and found areas of improvement for the team to develop and improve the skills of players over time.
Fisher earned a Master's Degree in Management with a concentration in Leadership in 2019 from Aquinas after she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sport and Recreation Management in 2015 from Lake Superior State.
