Aquinas College

Elizabeth Schafer joins Aquinas Women's Basketball following a decorated career at Okemos High School. A three-year varsity basketball player, Schafer earned Honorable Mention All-Conference recognition as a sophomore before receiving First Team All-Conference honors during both her junior and senior seasons. She was also named Honorable Mention All-State by the Detroit Free Press as a junior and earned Lansing State Journal All-Area recognition as both a junior and senior.

Schafer has played basketball for 11 years and spent six years competing on the AAU circuit with Capitol City Express. A multi-sport athlete, she also competed in varsity cross country and track & field for four years.

Schafer chose Aquinas because of the team's culture, the coaching staff's belief in her and the campus. She defines a successful collegiate experience as growing as both a person and player while building lifelong relationships.

Away from basketball, Schafer has three siblings and enjoys spending time with her family at Drummond Island.
