Biography

Junior Kanyla Tyler joins the Aquinas women's basketball program after transferring from Siena Heights University. A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and graduate of East Kentwood High School, Tyler is pursuing degrees in Biology and Psychology.

Tyler earned All-Conference honors during her high school career and has played basketball for 12 years, including four varsity seasons. She also competed with the West Michigan Drive AAU program before continuing her collegiate career.

Kanyla chose Aquinas because of its strong basketball tradition and looks forward to exploring new opportunities while making a positive impact on the program. Away from basketball, she loves spending time with animals.
