Biography
Sophomore Lauren Meerman continues her collegiate basketball career while pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. A native of Coopersville, Michigan, Meerman has played basketball her entire life while also competing with Michigan Basketball Academy AAU, swimming in high school and playing lacrosse during her senior year.
Lauren chose Aquinas because of the opportunity to continue growing alongside teammates who have become some of her closest friends. She looks forward to seeing both her own development and the continued growth of the program throughout her collegiate career.
Lauren believes success comes from being surrounded by supportive teammates and building lasting relationships. Away from basketball, she enjoys listening to Lauryn Hill.
