Aquinas College

Maurisa "MJ" Mikus is a decorated Saint from Howell with a long list of athletic accomplishments. A two-time Livingston County Second Team selection and two-time KLAA All-Conference West honoree, she also earned Detroit News All-Metro Honorable Mention recognition twice and received the BCAM Team First Award for leadership. Mikus helped lead Howell High School to district and conference championships in 2023 and 2024 while lettering in basketball, volleyball and softball. She also competed with the Michigan Mystics and Michigan Premier AAU basketball programs.

Mikus chose Aquinas because of its beautiful campus and smaller, more personal learning environment. She believes success comes from taking full advantage of the university's academic and athletic resources while developing strong time-management skills.

Outside of basketball, Mikus enjoys painting.
