Aquinas College

Junior Sophie Klinger joins the Aquinas women's basketball program after transferring from Lansing Community College. A native of East Lansing, Michigan, Klinger is pursuing a degree in Sports Management with a minor in Communications while bringing an impressive basketball résumé to the Saints.

Klinger earned three All-Conference selections, two All-State Honorable Mention honors, four All-Academic recognitions and helped her high school teams capture two district championships and two regional championship appearances. At Lansing Community College, she helped her team finish fifth nationally after building a strong foundation through four varsity seasons and AAU competition with Michigan Basketball Academy.

Sophie chose Aquinas because of the opportunity to build lifelong friendships while competing for championships. She believes strong relationships on and off the court will define her collegiate experience. Away from basketball, she is a fan of country music.
