Aquinas College

Ella Mattson enters her sophomore season with Aquinas Bowling after a decorated career at Reeths-Puffer High School. Studying Graphic Design with a minor in Business, Mattson earned All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition twice during her prep career and Academic All-State honors as a senior. Her USBC success included winning a city tournament as a junior before capturing all-events, doubles and team titles at a state tournament during her senior year. A four-year varsity bowler in high school, Mattson earned varsity time during her freshman season at Aquinas and is now entering her sixth year in the sport. She chose AQ because of the beauty of its campus and values the connections she has built with her teammates. Away from bowling, Mattson enjoys arts and crafts and has an unusual athletic background of her own—she used to race cars.
