Aquinas College

Adison Thorne begins her Aquinas career after an outstanding four-year career at Mason County Central High School. A Biology major, Thorne earned All-Conference honors in cross country all four years while being named her team's MVP Runner during the 2022-23 school year. She also earned three All-Conference selections in track & field while competing on the varsity team all four years and received the prestigious Lady Spartan Award.

Thorne initially became interested in Aquinas because of its strong academic reputation, but it was the welcoming atmosphere and supportive culture of the cross country program that made her feel at home. She is excited to compete alongside teammates who encourage one another while continuing to grow both academically and athletically.

Adison believes success at Aquinas means surrounding herself with teammates, friends, and faculty who challenge and support her every step of the way. Away from running, she loves reading, was adopted, has two biological siblings and two siblings she grew up with, and accelerated through school by starting first grade early and skipping eighth grade.
