• Finished 179th with a time of 22:14 in the 5,000-meter event at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge (Oct. 21) at Riverside Park • Opened at the 5,000-meter Calvin Knight Invitational (Sept. 9), crossing at 119th in 20:54
Senior (2016)
• Ran to a 67th-place finish in 21:32 to help the Saints win the WHAC Championships at Riverside Park. • Finished 141st with a time of 20:57 in the 8,000-meter event at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge (Oct. 22) at Riverside Park. • Placed 61st out of 134 at the MCC Jayhawk Invitational (Oct. 14), crossing the finish line in 20:49.• Placed 82nd out of 165 at the Bethel College Invitational (Oct. 7), crossing the finish line in 20:34. • Ran a 10:50 to finish in 31st place at the GRCC Raider Invitational (Sept. 23). • Opened the season at the 5,000-meter UW-Parkside Midwest Open (Sept. 10), crossing 87th in 21:14
Junior (2015)
• Ran to a 63rd-place finish in 21:25 at the WHAC Championships at Riverside Park. • Finished 181st with a time of 22:27 in the 5,000-meter event at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge (Oct. 24) at GraceWil Golf Course. • Ran a 21:23 at the Muskegon Community College Invitational (Oct. 16) to place 81st. • Finished 97th at the Bethel College Invitational (Oct. 9) contested at St. Patricks Park, finishing with a time of 21:10. • Opened at the 5,000-meter Calvin Knight Invitational (Sept. 12), crossing at 228th in 21:55.
Sophomore (2014)
• Ran to a 65th-place finish in 21:47 at the 2014 WHAC Championships (Nov. 8) at Riverside Park.• Finished 255th with a time of 22:42 in the 5,000-meter event at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge (Oct. 25) at GraceWil Golf Course. • Ran a 21:35 at the Bethel College Invitational (Oct. 10) at St. Patricks Park to place 91st. • Finished 103rd at the Lansing Community College Invitational (Oct. 3) contested at Grand Woods Park, finishing with a time of 22:10.
Freshman (2013)
Redshirted
High School: Prepped at Newaygo High School under head coach Stuart Sanders. Team captain of the Newaygo Lions during her senior year. Earned All Conference Honors in the Central State Activities Association as well as qualifying for the MHSAA state meet her senior year. Member of student council as well as serving as a mentor for struggling high school freshman. Also ran track and field.
Personal: Married to Andrew Thayer. Majoring in Mathematics, Spanish and Political Sciences. Enjoys reading, volunteering and biking.
