Biography
Senior (2017)
• Placed 36th at the NAIA National Championships (Nov. 18) with a time of 18:19 at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, Washington.• Ran to a 12th-place finish in a time of 18:48 to help the Saints win their 4th straight WHAC Championships at Riverside Park. Meghan was named Second Team All-WHAC for her performance • Finished 24th with a time of 19:03 in the 5,000-meter event at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge (Oct. 21) at Riverside Park • Placed 11th out of 203 at the Bethel College Invitational (Oct. 6), crossing the finish line in 18:42 • Placed 12th out of 171 in a time of 18:41 at the Greater Louisville Classic• Opened at the 5,000-meter Calvin Knight Invitational (Sept. 9), crossing at 27th in 19:03
High School: Graduated from Hart High School where I was a varsity runner for all four years of cross country and Track and Field under the coaching of Larry David, Giovanni Guzman and Travis Hobbs. Was team captain of my team during my senior season and was voted Most Outstanding Female Runner all four years of cross country
Prior to Aquinas: Ran for Hawaii Pacific University under the coaching of Jackie Sgambati. Awarded NCAA DII Freshman Runner of the Week (2014), 2nd Team All-PacWest Runner (2014), NCAA DII All-Academic Individual (2016), and Hawaii Pacific University's Women's Cross Country Most Valuable Player (2016-17).
Personal: Parents are Lori and Scott Fairchild. I have four siblings; Ryan, James, William, and my twin sister, Mikala. I enjoy reading, cooking, camping, fishing, hiking, playing football, and spending time with family. Majoring in Elementary Education.
