Biography
Maddie Schense, from Otsego, Michigan, is majoring in Biology and has been a strong contributor to the Aquinas women’s golf program. She was recognized with the program’s Champion of Character award during the 2024–25 season, reflecting her leadership and commitment. At the high school level, she was an All-Conference and All-Region honoree, while also earning academic awards and helping her team become the first in school history to qualify for the state finals. In addition to golf, Schense played two years of varsity soccer and competed in club soccer for a decade. She chose Aquinas for its small class sizes and the supportive environment that encourages her to succeed. Schense credits staying balanced and organized as keys to thriving in college. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time in nature.
