Aquinas College

Alyssa Post joins Aquinas Women's Rugby after beginning her collegiate career at La Salle University and brings an extensive résumé of championship and international experience. A Psychology major pursuing a future career in sport psychology, Post helped Sparta capture four consecutive Michigan high school state championships from 2021–24, serving as captain for the final three. She represented the United States on the U18 Women's National Team in Wales in 2024 and has competed with programs including Atlantis Rugby, Midwest Thunderbirds U23, Midwest Babybirds U19, Sparta Rock Rugby, Badger Academy, Detroit Rugby, Michigan Mastodons U23 and Eagle Impact Rugby Academy. Her rugby career has taken her to New Zealand, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Italy, Wales and the Netherlands, and she helped the Midwest Thunderbirds capture a national championship in 2026. Post is excited to continue her academic journey at Aquinas while preparing to become a sport psychologist and ultimately help others through the profession.
