Aquinas College

Elle Fonnesbeck joins Aquinas Women's Rugby after graduating from Sparta High School in 2026. A Business Administration major, Fonnesbeck brings five years of rugby experience to the Saints and was part of a program that captured three state championships. She also spent three years competing with the Midwest Thunderbirds, adding another level of experience to her rugby background. Fonnesbeck chose Aquinas for the opportunity to meet new people while continuing to play the sport she loves and defines success through the relationships she builds with her teammates and remaining determined regardless of the circumstances. Her rugby experiences have already taken her around the world, including a trip to New Zealand to play the sport. Fonnesbeck also has a twin brother.
