Jeanette Yumalay Aldana (Je-Nette)
      Jeanette Yumalay Aldana, from Berwyn, Illinois, is majoring in Early Education with a minor in Spanish. A standout for her Illinois program, she earned numerous accolades, including 2nd in State, Coaches Award, Forwards MVP, 7s All-Around MVP, and the Captain’s Award. Aldana brings a versatile athletic background with experience in volleyball, basketball, flag football, gymnastics, and rugby, totaling over nine years of competitive play. “I’m most excited to just play rugby and get better and better! I want to be a bigger hitter for sure!” she said with enthusiasm. Her approach to success is simple: attend everything she can, stay active, and have fun doing it. English is not her first language, which she views as one of her proudest achievements as a student-athlete adapting and excelling at Aquinas.
