Aquinas College

Kayla Herrer enters her sophomore season with Aquinas Women's Rugby after making an immediate impact during her first year with the Saints. A Biology major and South Christian High School graduate, Herrer was named AQ Women's Rugby Forward of the Year for the 2025–26 15s season while helping the Saints advance to Nationals. Her rapid development is especially notable considering she began playing rugby during the second semester of her senior year of high school after spending 10 years competing in soccer. Herrer chose Aquinas because of the opportunities it provided and continues to define success through growth in both athletics and academics. Originally from Zimbabwe, she enjoys EDM and has a twin sister.
