Aquinas College

Lilian Beattie joins Aquinas Women's Rugby from Orangeville District Secondary School in Ontario. A Kinesiology major with a focus in Applied Sport Science, Beattie was named Athlete of the Year in 2023–24 and brings four years of varsity rugby experience to the Saints. She also competed for three years at the club level with North Halton Highlanders and Fergus Highland while building an extensive multi-sport background that includes four years each of basketball and volleyball along with club volleyball experience with Georgetown Impact. Beattie chose Aquinas because of its small class sizes, campus environment and rugby program and is excited to meet new people, continue learning and have fun competing with her new teammates. She views the many resources available to AQ students as an important part of building a successful college experience.
