Biography
Skye Wegener joins Aquinas Women's Rugby following an accomplished career at Skyline High School. Currently undecided on her academic major, Wegener earned the Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award and helped her high school team earn a third-place finish at Nationals. She brings six years of rugby experience to the Saints, including opportunities with PNW Selects, USA West, LCA and TOA, and earned an invitation to the U18 USA summer camp. Wegener chose Aquinas because of the opportunity to become part of the women's rugby team and play for Coach Dani. She defines success through working hard and giving her best effort in everything she does. Away from rugby, her favorite animal is the giraffe.
