Biography
Senior Amelia Edens enters her final season with the Saints while pursuing a degree in counseling psychology. One of the most decorated swimmers in Aquinas history, Edens is a two-time NAIA Second Team All-American, a multiple-time All-Conference honoree and holds four individual and four relay school records. A respected leader, she has served as a team captain both in high school and at Aquinas while helping elevate the Saints Swim & Dive program.
Before arriving at Aquinas, the Whiteland, Indiana, native competed in swimming and track and field at Whiteland Community High School, laying the foundation for an outstanding collegiate career. She has more than eight years of competitive swimming experience.
Edens chose Aquinas because of its welcoming campus community and supportive environment. She hopes to leave a lasting impact on the program while continuing to pursue excellence both in and out of the pool.
Away from competition, Amelia has a personal goal of completing a half marathon every year.
